Ball Valve Body, also called shell, is the collective structure of the majority of the parts, which holding all valve components together. Though valve bodies designed to serve a common function across all valve types but for each valve type the material used for manufacturing the valve body is different. There are cast iron valve bodies, forged steel valve bodies, alloy steel valve bodies each of them has a particular quotient of chemical and mechanical property and thus valve bodies made out of these materials are suitable only for particular use.
